BOOK: Foundations of the Stereo-Scopic Cinema: A Study in Depth

Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

Lenny Lipton is the Chief Technology Officer of Real D, the exhibition technology company responsible for the 3-D film system used by Disney’s Meet the Robinsons. He wrote a book in 1982 called “Foundations of the Stereo-Scopic Cinema: A Study in Depth.”

I was very distressed that the book is going for over a $100 on Amazon.com Marketplace. However, after some digging I found that it is available for free as a PDF on the Real D website!

Link.

I realize not too many people have a 325 page attention span so check out this Youtube video of Lenny showing off the Real D projector.
